LCE GALLERY将于2024年11月16日呈现新锐艺术家推荐展 “NOBODY’S NORMAL｜谁都不正常”，由青年策展人戴茜策展，展出来自曹小韭、高利、胡鑫、谨永、时智宇、吴沛垠，六位青年艺术家的“不太正常的”作品。艺术家们分别以夸张、荒谬、离奇的艺术表现手法，探索非理性创意和理性创作之间的平衡，结合各自的生存体验，从不同视角揭露出人性本质在文明发展中所背负的使命。

LCE GALLERY is proud to announce the upcoming exhibition "NOBODY'S NORMAL | 谁都不正常" featuring the works of six emerging artists: Nineleek Cao, Gao Li, Hu Xin, Jin Yong, Shi Zhiyu, and Jane Wu. Curated by Dr. Xi Dai, the exhibition will be unveiled on November 16, 2024, presenting a collection of "not-so-normal" pieces that explore the delicate balance between irrational creativity and rational artistry. Each artist employs exaggerated, absurd, and bizarre artistic techniques, drawing from their distinct life experiences, they unveil the inherent human nature and the missions it carries throughout the progression of civilization.

曹小韭通过撕裂事物在理想中的形状与秩序，表达存在于客观现实中的荒谬。在感官与认知的矛盾中对抗，向理性妥协后证明自我的存在。

Nineleek Cao disrupts the idealized shapes and order of objects, expressing the absurdity that exists within objective reality. In the conflict between sensation and cognition, one asserts self-existence by reconciling with reason.

高利的创作如同修行，作品呈现出直抵人心的平静。在节奏愈来愈快的当代社会中，将“静”具象成“画”，成了天性与理性难得的一场“同仇敌忾”。

Gao Li's creations are akin to a spiritual practice, offering a tranquility that resonates deeply with the soul. In the increasingly fast-paced contemporary society, the embodiment of "stillness" in "painting" becomes a rare union between nature and reason.

胡鑫将木偶人可以灵活运动的身体与自由意志联系在一起，但画面的局促构图又塑造了对自由的讽刺，传达着个人理想与社会规训之间无可改变的矛盾。

Hu Xin links the flexible movements of puppets to the concept of free will, yet the constrained composition of his works ironically shapes a satire of freedom, conveying the tension between personal aspirations and societal conditioning.

谨永的创作倾向于探索内在情感而非描绘外在景象，通过对日常场景的陌生化处理，揭露浮华社会表象之下，个体生命所遭遇的无助。

Jin Yong's creations tend to explore internal emotions rather than depict external scenes. By estranging everyday settings, he reveals the loneliness experienced by individual lives beneath the glamorous facade of society.

时智宇的作品将日常“掠影”定格成“永恒”，通过细节处的怪异牵引观者的情绪变化，强调了作品表现力和风格化的重要性。

Shi Zhiyu captures everyday "glimpses" and freezes them into "eternity." The peculiarities in the details draw the viewer's emotions, emphasizing the importance of expressiveness and stylization in his works.

吴沛垠将变形扭曲的空间与梦幻感的色彩进行组合，把寄情于景的中式浪漫，融入具有当代神秘主义特质的艺术创作中，反映出一种“幽暗”的美感。

Jane Wu combines distorted spaces with dreamlike colors, integrating the Chinese romanticism of expressing emotions through scenery into contemporary art with mystical qualities, reflecting a "gloomy" aesthetic.

“NOBODY’S NORMAL｜谁都不正常”，期待去拥抱不规则的边缘，探讨现代社会的“正常”该如何定义。在2024年岁末，致敬过往，共赴未来。
